I have a question for anyone who has a GIS PLS. What is the difference in the regular PLS and the GIS PLS? As a GIS PLS can you still perform normal surveying tasks like boundary, topo, and construction surveys ? Can you still stamp these types of surveys for recordation in counties? I am having the hardest time finding answers. The reason I am getting licensed as a surveyor is because I want to do all those things... I thought getting the GIS PLS would be an added bonus but looks like it's a restriction?RyGuyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01693082867963728292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18725424.post-5709293799006859822009-09-28T22:16:02.341-04:002009-09-28T22:16:02.341-04:00As a licensed GIS Surveyor in the state of South C...As a licensed GIS Surveyor in the state of South Carolina, I'd be more than willing to share my perspectives on the law, the practice, and the state of LPS vs GIS as I've encountered it since becoming licensed.

Eric
service@winyahbayco.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
