I have not heard anything more about the young lady that was hit by the Orange Line trolley on her way to the ESRI UC Wednesday morning...
There is still only sparse information available online: http://www.nbcsandiego.com/news/13537864/detail.html
I was on the next southbound Orange line, we had to disembark and walk from Seaport Village, she had already been rescued and sent off by ambulance, but police were still working the accident scene.
My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family for a speedy recovery.

a friend was standing right behind her when she got hit. the gate was down and beeping. she was talking on her phone and walked right into the train. Darwin award for you.
Any one know the status of the woman hit?
How scary! I hope she was OK, do you have any updates?
The woman suffered serious brain and liver damage, as well as skull and pelvis fractures. She was in critical condition for more than 72 hours. Doctors say it will be a long and difficult recovery process, but that full recovery is likely.
What ever happened to this lady? It's been almost a year since this. Wonder if she'll be back at this year's UC...
